Solid light-weight titanium wedding bands: the future of the men’s wedding band

It’s well knowon that titanium rings are very beautiful, strong & durable rings that make a definite statement. Many men use titanium wedding rings as wedding rings, especially when they do not like the look of gold, white gold or silver.

Advantages of titanium jewelry include the strong quality that offers a sense of strength to the wearer, and also the beautiful look that is unmistakable. In recent years, titanium rings have been given a bad reputation in the jewelry industry because some say that they are dangerous. The rumor is that because the titanium is so strong, it cannot be cut off if there is a swelling problem on the hand. However, this is not true at all– titanium rings are crack off rather than cut off and are often safer & less painfull to remove than cutting off a gold ring.

These different shades do not indicate a higher or lower quality of metal, however. Many jewelry shops will report that it is impossible to remove scratches from titanium rings.

Unlike silver, the percentage of purity is not a consideration in your titanium jewellery. Most titanium rings will be 99% pure titanium or higher, so anything advertised as lower than that should be viewed as suspect, as it may not be true titanium.

Titanium does not require any sort of coating or protective plating, so any retailer that offers these options may be worried about their inferior product showing signs of wear or tarnish – things that never happen to true titanium jewellery. Most manufacturers are able to provide sizing options & warranties for titanium rings because the metal is easy to use and make beautiful rings that are very durable.

Overall these rings are a very strong, beautiful & unique look for rings for both men & women. The difference, rather than financial, will be in durability, weight and originality – the last one, impossible to put a price tag on, but incredibly valuable.
